A few words

Warsow is a hobbyist project, related to Chasseur de bots, which is a french non-profit association. The development is based on high skills, self-responsability, free will and tenacity of all team members. For the fun, for the fame, for a good line in our CVs, by gamers, for gamers.

Since 2005, Warsow reached a certain level of success on the esport scene. Once the "discovering/surprise" effect was gone, day after day, month after month, the game kept on proving its strengh and reliability on the long range, as a relevant, credible, challenger in the branch of fast-paced FPS.

Today, Warsow is supported by a strong and passionated community of hardcore gamers. Our players, being strongly involved in esport and competition, are probably belonging to the world's top gamers. Besides their incredible skills in aiming, moving and prediction in the game, they got a perfect knowledge of all Internet tools. Thanks to them, Warsow became a galaxy, strongly established all over Europe, and now growing elsewhere like in North America, Australia, Japan, etc.

Esport is sport. Sport is school of respect and self-achievement. Learning to loose is as much big matter than learning to win. That's why Warsow is the acronym of "Warsow is Art of Respect and Sportmanship Over the Web". This motto gives to the game a final touch of maturity and friendshipness, which is highly appreciated by most of our gamers.

Now, we have a community to feed and help growing, we have a game to finish, with priorities to adjust and sort constantly due to IRL duties. Therefore, sponsoring and financial partnership would be a great help. We're particulary looking for funds in order to set up a warsow meeting during next summer, gathering as many team members, and contributors, as possible.
