Installing Warsow on Ubuntu 12.04 using unified package:

We recommend installing Warsow through Playdeb.net repositories, but as an alternative installation method you can install Warsow 1.02 easily in Ubuntu 12.04 with the instructions below:

First, of all open terminal (Unity: super-"terminal"-enter) and download our unified package:

wget -O warsow_1.02_unified.tar.gz http://www.warsow.net/download?dl=linux102

Extract unified package:

tar zxvf warsow_1.02_unified.tar.gz

Move to the extracted folder, download and extract precise binaries:

cd warsow_1.02
wget -O warsow_1.02_ubuntu12.04.tar.gz http://www.warsow.net/download?dl=precisebins102
tar zxvf warsow_1.02_ubuntu12.04.tar.gz

Now you can run Warsow from the console by executing:

./warsow
