Netradiant with Warsow support available
Netradiant is a mantained version of GTKradiant 1.5.0.
It has a few improvements in the editor, but the most important, it has improvements in the q3map2 map compiler that affect directly the compile of maps for Warsow producing better quality deluxemaps.
Since the last build, Netradiant has built in support for Warsow, with the most updated entities.def and build menu included. You can get Netradiant here:
http://www.icculus.org/netradiant/
I highly recommend to use netradiant, or at least use its version of q3map2 combined with gtkradiant, for making Warsow maps.

nice, I have heard only well things about it in other forums :)
EDIT: oh and a question
Are all compiling keywords like e.g. -fast still the same?

All the old stuff is in there yes. It has new things too. But it
comes with proper build menu, you shouldn't need to touch anything.
Yeah, but I'm never happy with those predefined build menus, I
prefer to create my own :)
It's in the link I posted, under "Releases for Win32". There are
compiled versions for all platforms.

Thanks...
My browser says access denied tho :( anyone got a mirror?
Denied to the page or to the download? If it's the page here's the
download:
http://www.icculus.org/netradiant/files ... -win32.zip

Is there also a forum? (not the bugtracker)
Because I have some problems and questions about the interface

Nope (I also asked), there's only this thread at Nexuiz's forum:

Yeah, I saw that link on the page... but that link is "access denied" for me?? Strange port or something? What size is the download? If it's not too big, then I've got another internet account I can try which should work, but is rather expensive. Sorry for the hassle
Hi,
although I do not play Warsow, I will regularily search this forum for NetRadiant. Too bad icculus.org does not support forum hosting, as it seems (no database), so for now alientrap.org has to do. I wonder if I should make an extra category for it there... not sure yet.
I recently added a feature to generate a 2D minimap of the map, like Nexuiz has in the team radar (upper left corner in team games). Maybe this could be of use for Warsow too. Also, I added documentation for all q3map2 command line options to the NetRadiant website, and will soon also add some short documentation for all map compiler supported shader keywords and entity keys.

Hmm... I'll revise the minimap generation switch to see if it can
be made to fit Warsow minimaps and add it to the build menu.
Warsow already has minimaps? From searching the forum, I can just
see the feature was once requested.
Probably the minimaps will differ in coordinate space. Nexuiz minimaps are scaled so that at each side of the minimap image, 1/66th is empty, and in the remaining 64 66ths, the map's world coordinates are centered (the 1/66th black border is to prevent problems with mipmapping the texture for zooming out, and for leaving some room for editing and filtering the image). An exact description is on the website.

Ye, it has minimaps. They are rarely enabled, tho. Only work as
spectator/demo/tv watching, and not all maps include them.
