wow impressive homart!

actually it doesnt really look like that it would even require some hyperrealistic textures.maybe go for something like this:http://i1-games.softpedia-static.com/screenshots/1-1249_2.jpg and focus on lighting.

Style is just awsome and you got just perfect amount of details. Also i like the simple shapes and the fact that youre not trying anything too fancy.Although nontextured versions usually doesnt look as good when you apply more detailed textures. Therefore you probably have to add something extra and think about color scheme.

Wut, you didn't know about manipulating surfaces? ^^

Anyway, it looks really good, just at the top these tiny pipes look a bit akward and could use some detail work, and the floorgrid needs a strong frame

Hey again,

I was offline for few days (problems with my router and ISP). Anyway did some texturing and this is what i have got now. I just threw in a sky texture because I was lazy putting up the lights.

And from above

Yea I know it sucks
... but the final will look something like this:

... so I need ads and if anyone wants to advertise something on my map it's FREE!!!
Send me your ads and i will put them in. Or give me an idea. Maybe advertise your own map on my map lol.

Advertising other maps is actually a pretty great idea; you can also advertise the individual weapons and items, probably even name fictional companies with community members' names.

I really love the style you're going for; it'll be something new, as far as I can see.

I'm trying to take wsw to the next level and this map is going to be my masterpice. I will not spare the engine and hold myself back.

Already have made some ads but i need 10 times more, I just run out off ideas. Here's your chance to get ur invisible forum sig into my new map!

Here are few examples:

Omg bad quality jpg export :(

i dont mean to be negative about, but i am anyway. the jpeg export isn't the problem here.
first thing i noticed looking at your reference was most displays being just font or logodesign without any layout. the former should be simple enough to produce. in the mass of displays the single one is hardly noticable, i take your word it will look like in the image :D

edit: my example is rather bad. but take your ultrakill logotype. would look much better if it was just that on a billboard, without the image. sadly good logotypes arent that easy to make up.

Well i didn't have any internet connection when i made these (and i can't draw).
Actually i was thinking something like this:

There would be for example one billboard dedicated to "SupaMed". It will be displaying the main message "Need money?" and some information. Then showing one by one these "slides".

This one for example has too much text but i think it gonna look ok when its animated somehow:

To fill in the background some random adds like this suit best.

.. i have no idea what its saying.

or some 3D rotating shit. (on 2d surface)

These are just quik sketches.

PS.
This is a good one XD:

Take a look at all the posters and billboards in Warsow for inspiration - we kinda had little project during 0.6 development to make new billboards, posters and such to give references to the (imaginary) Warsow universe, perhaps you should try to do something similiar, but with your own style.

An example:

my advice would be that look some of the reallife bilboard adds etc and just copy paste the layout and apply your own ideas there.

Not really. It's like printing a coca cola tshirt and wearing it. It's not like the cops are gonna confiscate it.

Fix the word-spacing between pork and cola, and enjoy should probably be positioned somewhat better, either before the P like Coca-cola used to do. Or align it between P and C, with some nice consistent margins..

Will look better then, otherwise it's a fun idea, GJ! :)
