I even have code ready (not for the video part) for such info "ballots" which activate when you hit classaction button nearby, giving subtitles + audio track and even making the info ballot spinning when the audio is playing!
That's why I clearly said "warsow mapping" and not "warsow mapping combined with epix gametype scripting".
Because I know you can make such stuff with gametype scripting.
And if you have such a code ready, why not implement it into the engine?
It's part of the tutorial map project, where the map is mostly
ready, together with bits and pieces of code, but I don't have time
to develop it any further.
Come to think of it, the only reason I haven't really started going
deep into AS is that I don't know what stuff is doing. I can
honestly say if someone gives me a guide to create an entity, make
it place-able in radient/ ingame, and make it move and rotate, I'll
start doing awesome things. The last times I've tried doing that
kind of stuff myself, it's given weird issues.
I do definitely want to start implementing crazy things.
EDIT: Tried again, managed to use xan's xdo turret to make a deathmatch that uses turrets placed in radient. Now I'm capable of starting something.
One thing I think would be awesome is gametype independent entities; probably not drastically important, but it'd allow things like those billboards and perhaps custom train things, or special doors. It'd have to be limited somehow, but I assume when a map loads it checks the keys on entities, which could be used to generate usings for entities checked as gametype independent.

I was bored yesterday so started improving emtown's lighting
settings.Also I found out that the way how to setup the target/Spot
lights was actually wrong so I fixed that also.Here are the

Posting this here because I see no point in making a new thread for
a couple of hastily made race maps, had fun mapping again and
although I understand the complaints about the skybox/eye cancer I
like the results : )

I love the second pic. The colors are soooo good

Ok here is a big moment we all have been waiting for (or atleast a moment that surv players have waited for) new survival map!!!

NB this map only works on survival servers so you wont be able to play it offline, but you can jump around anyway.
I hope it will be on the server, sent AMrK mail so waiting his reply.

I'm still using that ugly slide texture because I haven't made a better one yet.

You seem to mix up Tron style with cyberpunk.

Know the difference my friend, know the difference. War§ow is set in a Cyberpunk universe not inside a PC how it was immagined by some Disney prodoucers in the early 80's.

There is no such thing as wsw style, there is a collection of
different styles, with themes from the past, present and future. I
think the future look is hopefully the most popular now as they
definately look and fit best IMO.
