there are always people that dislike a certain style, its just a
matter of taste. i dont necessarily like the theme that much,
looking at what i think fits warsow best, but the way you made it
is absolutely awesome

It seems that you didn't understand me, I think that this map is amazing in all terms of mapping, I just don't like the style.
Actually I don't know what you want, I only wanted to tell you that you made a good job, I didn't insult you in any way, and yet you are coming up with such rude comments.
I didn't quote the part of Rimols answer to discriminate you or your map in any way, I quoted it because it was the main statement in his answer, and he wrote is down as good as possible.
If you can't life with constructive criticism and with people having different tastes, then you shouldn' ask for it...

You don't explain to someone why you don't like strawberrys, you just say to him that you don't like them. If you really want me to explain to you why i don't like that specific style then my answer is that I don't like realistic games like cod or cs half as much as unique styles like warsow ones.
Yes, I somehow missed those, I've seen some early pics of them in the wip thread though and I maybe should have told you, sry. It's also not the whole style that bothers me, it's the complete absence of tech. Like someone in the wip thread already said, add some cables or some fuse boxes if you really want to change the style a bit.

why so? i think that part of the weakness of tdm is that the maps dont really play in a controlled way, that might be different in bomb maps (some of them anyway)

First chance I've had to take a look round this version.

sorry, but that is such rubbish...
there are some tdm maps that are more open and bigger than bomb maps.
also the fact that bomb maps are generally split into routes, largish rooms and choke points make some of them perfect for tdm. wbomb2 could work quite well as a tdm map imo. emtown also could work very well as one...
i think it might lead to a more team control oriented gamestyle, rather than a manic ffa which tdm kinda looks like atm...
not that it really matters as tdm is dead..

ok after while I want to apologize my reaction for the style
"critic",obv had too much passion in it.However I still want to
point out that the way and timing ,how and when to give "critisism"
is important.In this case when map was around 50% done and texture
set was 95% done first ppl said that they dont like style and that
continued till the release.Then it was already too late to change
style,2 possibilites then were either to cancel whole project or
just stick with what you got.that the way how i felt is that the
floow was unnecessary (solidfake 4-5 times saying same thing
+finally highlighting it.)
and Umm im trying to still optimize this bit more and improve fps.maybe do something for the style (not sure since its big project).thinking that more industrial could be nice. and finally improve clipping+fixing bugs

Here is some graph bugs I find on the map. Maybe its just my cfg.
To me it looks like 2 bushes are overlapping etch other. But don't
have that much mapping experience so.

Love the playstyle on the map in pcw/pickup, nice balanced etc. Can be kinda full on 10v10, but no point to say that since it's made for 5v5.
