Warsow 0.7 BETA release!

Here in Brazil, we waiting for this for a long time! I hope we don´t be set aside as we´re in Quake Live, without official servers.
A lot of guys can remember in the 0.5 and 0.6 versions we´re one of most stronger community!

First time I tested logged in fine, now I just get.

Well here goes my first impressions on this beta: very nice
overall, loving the map modifications, although there are some
problems/critics I'd like to share with you:
- Prefer the old 0.6 LG instead of the new one. At first when I tested it in 0.6(http://www.warsow.net/forum/thread/t/204859#post-204859) it looked cool but after a while it just felt wrong, rly strange with teamcolors on.
- Sound bug: self-model(viciious) jump sounds randomly stop while performing a sequence of jumps/dash+ start jumping. btw this bug happens on both qf and openal modules.
- Sound bug #2: The announcer sound stays unchanged after toggled down via sound options menu
- Same login problem as dietek.
- Getting sort of a transparent lg/eb on wamphi1 (may happen on other maps in the future, I dno), posting screenshots of that here soon.
- I feel this new weak EB projectile should be faster, also have a more visible trail, which would make it easier to aim with.

Another UI issue that I noticed is that the ingame menus are not
controllable from the keyboard (arrow keys/enter). You used to be
able to do that in .6, so maybe that's something that should be
included in 0.7.
One other minor issue is that there does not seem to be a place in the menu to bind messagemode and messagemode2 -- not sure if this is by design or not

Issue with serverlist, It will connect to the top listed server
regardless of choice, if I switch to isnta then back to regular i
can connect to whatever server.

I started a local server with ui and 1 bot :
a lot of graphical bug, I can go though the wall where I have the bug oO
still good light effect
First time I launched it, i had the cursor + the crosshair
I tried to record, I can view my demo via the game but can't find the demo file in my windows explorer (same for screenshot). In my demo I don't see the graphical bug

1st of all I would like to thank Warsow Dev Team for the greatest
work! Game feels more solid and modern. Particle rocket explosion
looks very attractive! And I think, projectile weak eb is that what
I missed a lot since wsw.4 :D
after 1st test session i have found no bugs (exept one during login, it was posted above). Looks like my Intel HD Graphics 2000 runs wsw.7 engine fine. Overall performance seems same as it was in wsw.6.
About the gameplay/phisics: dunno what did you change, bu i love it. Thanks Devs!

The ui map is meant to be part of the ui, so any errors are your
fault for loading the map.

There were two instances in TDM tonight on xannode where the score
board was graphically messed up. The right side of the
tab-scoreboard was listed "players" and no players or scores were
listed. The ALPHA vs BETA score was reporting properly in my HUD,
but scores were not legible. I haven't noticed this bug at all in
CA or DUEL.
We were playing wdm15 fwiw when it occured
PS: a new captcha system for the forums would be nice when .7 is all said and done -- i find myself typing in these captchas four or five times before my posts go through

Alright here is my first impression.
Loading screen !%&%¤# AWESOME! My old config still works :D with some tweaks everything works fine :D + that i can have like red/orange walls and some grayish floors :D.. I have no words.. its so much <3 + The projectile EB beam is back :DDDDDDDDDDDDDD YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!! Wdm6 is also so sweet looks awesome!!!
Well then some minor things then that i guess you guys already know. Wdm11 well missing textures.. + in some way my plasma gets blue :D hahaha :D and the rg spread on the walls looks weird :S like its transparent oh wait everything the "splash" on the wall looks white dunno why :D. Crizis told me it could be a cfg problem well maybe, but it works on wdm6 and wdm5 (the maps i played yesterday). Oh well the lg beam yeh it looks alright but can i get the old one back?
Now i should call my internet provider and get me a new modem and hope it solves my lag so i can play some better games.
Overall so far except the missing textures and stuff in one word brilliant!

this game refuses to connect to the internet somehow.Had similar
problems with 0.6(bad compatibility with f-secure or somethign)

online/offline status icons were missing from the friends list,
fixed.
The menus are awesome, downtown looks pretty good, drawflat is
nice, the stats are awesome.. overall a good beta. Kudos to
crizis/vic for being onhand and providing support to players
post-release.
My game crashed once (I know this same thing happened to another player, too) when trying to change from the qf sound module to the openal one but that's about all the feedback I can offer re: bugs.
I'll echo the sentiments of most others posting here; good release but reverting to projectile weak EB is a bad call.
And I think lowering the rocket damage is a bad call. A direct rocket should do more damage than a direct EB. There is just no two ways about it. If anything; _direct_ rockets deserved a buff, not a nerf. Please think about this.

Also -- I see that you can reset your password to a random password with the Forgot Password link, but is there a way to change your password? I looked in edit profile and it wasn't there

Damage isn't lowered, but +5 direct hit bonus was removed. Guess I can add this back to final release.
We're also experiencing some bizarre python segfault bug (mm/stats
server is python), which why you might not be able to login
sometimes. Patience with this, and retry in 5 minutes, then mm
should have respawned.
