Little update on 0.7 beta.

Hellow community!

Just wanted to give you a little heads-up what's happening with 0.7 beta.

So far we've fixed 30 and some bugs and feature suggestions. We're somewhat on track on fixing crash and login bugs with on MatchMaker (some of them are pretty nasty bugs right in the python/libmysql, completely unrelated to our code, so these are pretty painful to workaround).

We'll also finally release changelog with next beta, together with beta-to-beta changelog.

Expect beta2 next few days (we'll try to hurry up as fast as we just can!).

And yes, beta2 will bring the much whined instant weak EB back.

I noticed just as many people were in favor of it than not. Personally I like the projectile eb, it's nice to have a change every now and then.

But people are afraid of change, it forces them to put effort into adapting to something new.

nobody asked me if i would be pleased when they dropped my favorite gt from 0.2 to 0.3 or fucked up my 2nd favorite gt when they changed the hole physics in 0.4 and so on...

still there is some awesomeness left so wsw will be my favorite game for a long time on

but when i see that some guys in the forum start to whine just coz of their lazyness and even get away with it that wakes ME wanna flip my desk

the first time since a long time the eb had a use for the strong ammo at all, so this very cool, logic and fun weapon system makes some sense, and all these lazy whinerz say is awww its so diffrent and ql(game xyz) has this and that and it wever was like this ... as ql physics/weapon balance rules our game

and i say this again
this weak eb wasnt even WEAK
it made 75 damage ffs
same as STRONG rl or STRONG eb
its a gun .... it shoots ... and other players can get hit_by_it

Maybe I should do public vote about it, then.

People that can't hit a projectile eb probably only play CA and are noobs. That's my opinion. :D
