I would be extremely careful linking to any of the texture artists
on gamespy. Most of them have moved on to greener pastures, and
Fileplanet's incessant reorganizations have meant that many older
texture sites are nothing but broken links. In particular, the
Bighouse used to have a really nice list of decent Quake 3
textures, but they all seem to be dead links now.
90% of the texture sets from Bighouse are available at wadfather.
It's a great site.
