well judging by warsows current situation in general activity day-to-day, playing warsow for fun, and for fun only, surely has proven not to be enough when every response i seem to get regarding warsows activity returns with a huge lists of cups that have players, like myself, drop out since theres no time to practice. Nor the ones that dont turn out shit unlike TDM OC, 1v1 EC, 1v1 OC, seem to be cqcup and cdc, which are both paid prizemoney tournaments.

sure, players are playing warsow for fun and the prizemoney cups are a bonus, thats very true, but thats not enough is it when people keep dissapearing, need more ideas than just WARSOW TV AND 0.4 because what happens after that?! id love to keep playing warsow, but if it turns out again how it has now after 2/3 months i can safely say i wont be, and i can safely say many others wont either. But again, you will see this as flame rather than constructive critisism in effort to point out to you the problem i see without you proud ego players or devs throwing it back in my face.

Well, not me, but i can respond to what youve said

The devs of a game need their releases to include features and updates that the community as a whole wants to see, while also fixing the update and removing features that arent necessary, or arent wanted anymore. The players of the game dont want to have to completely change their gaming style every time an update or a patch is released.

I, as a player of Warsow, want the game to develop in stability above all else, and have gameplay develop based on the updates to the games stability. I, as a spectator of Warsow, however, want the game to include features that are going to increase the global playerbase and ultimately have the game tour worldwide in international competitions. I want to see people winning $100k+ in Warsow duels and epic 5v5 ctf matches played to an audience of thousands. The reality of the situation is that these things wont happen overnight, and probably wont happen until, maybe, 0.8 or even 1.0 (this is just speculation) is released.

Until then, the community has plenty of time to play the game and develop their skills as players before the game really takes off and starts attracting more people.

While i doubt ill really be taken seriously, thats my input on Warsow :)

indeed, but then 36, why the long wait between patches and all this beta shit if its just for fun?! let everyone beta test?! no because somewhere, along the line of wsw devs, they decided to make wsw try and go more pro and release new patches every 5 months killing the game between 3-5 handing out private betas that quite clearly get passed around to friends.

i watched the FirstContact on youtube someday :/ I want to play this game. It is really sad there's no one to play with.

almost every dutchie saw 0.4 even if he isnt in the beta testers team.
