Ok.. Thanks, it is good to know.. The models in v0.42 are good enough, and at least they DONT sink ;)

Btw, the fix for strong grenades will be for the next version, v0.5 right? :D

The current shape fits the bounce style best, doesn't sink, and looks War§owian. I thought W§W was trying to move AWAY from the gothic, rusty look of Quake. Why would we want a weapon actually looks harmful? :)

Oh, but please do fix the damages. No more 1-bounce on strong.

The granades gameplay features, dmg bounce etc will be changed for 0.5 as far as i know, but as jal_ says, the look of the granades aint planned too be changed atm..
If i may post my personal opinion =D
these discs are 1. good looking, 2 looks natural in their bounceing 3. are decently uniqe gfx wise, for a granade launcher projectile.

there is nothing stopping you from anything.. but there wilo be a pureserver issue with using modified gameplay media im afraid =S

Just becouse the devs havent planned on changing it, doesnt mean that the devs cant see something they like and ask the auther if they can use it. modiefy all you want lads and girls =D

Any news on whats happening with the grenades?
What I hope is that the weak grenades stays as they are, but fix the strong grenades explosion damage/radius.
Bouncing is fine on both ammo-types, just change the damage/explosion radius on the strong ammo... :D

Any news? I would like to know whats happening with the grenades :D I feel that the bouncing is fine on both (1-bounce on strong is fine), its just the damage on strong that needs changing.. ;)

I dont quite understand why some are saying that they dont like the 1-bounce on strong though.. It makes the strong grenades different from the normal grenades, which is good IMO..

Anyway, I would like to know what is getting changed.. I know that the strong grenades will get fixed, but are there other things getting changed too (regarding the grenades)? IMO, the bouncing is fine, and the look is fine..

the gravity in .4 fucked the trajectory up..

Hmn.. Ok.. But please explain more; what ...? Is it the distance which the grenade can be shot? Bouncing style? I dont see anything wrong with the bouncing though.. Though I must say that it doesnt hurt if the grenades could be shot at longer distances.. ;)

Yup, I did and I see what you mean. You mean that they bounce several times on the ground, right?
Ehmn, this got changed in v0.4 (the physics got changed).. Anyway, Im glad it got changed cause I didnt like the v0.32 thing that much (sorry)...
Anyway, I wouldnt mind being able to shoot the grenades at longer distances though.. :D

What I also noticed is that the strong grenades were working (a little bit better) in v0.32.. When did that get fucked up (cause they are terrible in v0.42)?

DEVS/Team Members, any news that you can give us? I hope you fix the strong grenades damage, and thats it (let the weak one's STAY as they are!).. And once again; The bouncing is fine, so please let that be too :)

Just a note: Due to Rocket Launcher (RL) vs Grenade Launcher (GL) imbalance, I have also suggested that the GLs explosion radius could be made bigger (both weak and strong grenades).. The GL needs to be better, so it will be worth using it instead of RL all the time..

Ok.. I have been playing the old version v0.32 for myself a little bit, and I have come to a conclusion about the bouncing:

No more 1-bounce on strong. Make them the same as weak!
And then the only differences between weak and strong would be the damage/radius, which is how it should be.
Anyone who agrees with me? ;)
