Warsow Online Cup

Today we are proud to announce the Warsow Cup season I

This will be a duel tournament each week on Sunday’s.
In the end of the 10 qualifiers there will be a Grand Final with hardware and cash prices.
Thru this we hope that we can show the community that Warsow is an competition game which is worth playing!

Our first cup, which we will use as a test run for Warsow, the servers and the rules will be held on 11th of June.
After that we want to give you the choice if and what we should change,
you will have the option to vote on the forum if you want to change the mappool, server settings etc...

I agree to the TDM idea.

even if it's only a 2v2, better a 4v4, it would probably be more fun.

As I have experienced from past ladders and leagues I have set up, it is generally a good idea to start things with "small" teams, and then "upgrade". So to say, if the Duel-tournament works out well, why not make the next one a 2v2 tournament? I know that my friend and I would love to participate there (if pings are low enough... a lot depends on the servers) as a team, and if it's a duel tourny, he will probably not invest his time in that.

Duel and 2v2 would work great, tdm and ctf we sure need some more maps for that.

well first of all thanks to all people who are supporting us already now!

about the duel thing, its the best to start.
if we see that there is also an activ ctf and tdm scene im pretty sure we also gonna offer theese kind of tourneys sooner or later.

what about the servers? where are they located? (ping question)

atm im speaking with a few server host companies and maybe we even can offer a split system, that we get a few uk,de,nl servers etc ... but not wanna promise smg now !
