I'm talking about my DVD player (which I don't know the cpu, but
can't be too fast). On my computer I can reproduce the low quality
version, the rest options get freezes.
IMO, All these tendency game video makers have to encode in insane settings is stupid. It's ok to have a version in very HQ if you want, but for the standard version the encoding used for dvdripped movies should be used, which is what players are made for. The good quality is not making the video have more resolution and more frames, but make it look best within the "standard" encoding parameters so it can be appreciated by the masses. And if the file is bigger, just let it be, that's not such a big problem as downloading 100Mb less just to discover you can't watch it.

You keep saying that, yeah. But this thread had lots of comments of
people who couldn't. Anyway, I don't really feel like starting a
disscussion, I'm just trying to make you see you make a mistake by
not trying to reach everyone, but if you don't feel like, it's just
your problem, of course.
