nvm wrong thread

It's just a post about a LAN and assisting some students who don't have money to have something fun to do. Obviously none of you really live in the USA and would not attend. That being said, you have nothing to bitch about. FCS at least it's Warsow that is being played and not a different game. For being one of the four individuals who are hosting, I tend to believe it is our choice and decision to play whatever version we feel like. When you host a LAN, use the version you like, who cares.
Note: Reason being we are playing .42 compared to .5, it weapon damage/distance in .5 is crappy, movement in .5 is unpleasant compared to .42. I myself have posted several times in other threads to try and figure out the crappy delay with the Rockets and Plasma Gun with no solutions found to repair the problem. In LAN, .5 also has a terrible delay with those weapons and .42 does not. Now instead of trolling an announcement for a LAN, and bitching about it. Offer a suggestion to make .5 at least somewhat enjoyable to play.

look Mike, i warned you about that forum and posting there. You will only get bashed first because your an American, second because you have an opinion and don't blindly say, "gee .5 is the greatest thing ever" when it's obvious that it has allot of problems. Lets just to the fucking lan, have some fun and food and make some students holiday a little better. Oh I forgot, the Creme Cafe has donated three $25 gift certificates for the players, that will be a nice small gift. Don't let the morongs on the site bother you, I should have went with my first instinct and used a different game anyway, there is a reason i don't play Warsow anymore aside from the problems the game itself has. Anyway, see ya at work man.

Update: The event lead, not myself, has actually categorized the event due to the massive response and sign in. It will also be hosted with Warsow .5 due to the heavy Bomb and Diffuse requests. There will be team events, TDM, Bomb and Diffuse, DM and Duel. This will be a viewable event and broadcast for the day on a WSWTV server as well.
An answer to your question, no I am not, however we do work together and he is a close friend.

Hey Mike, its my understanding that you are me. No worries, don't pay any of the peeps any attention. I finished the poster for the lan and had Shelly post them around uptown on campus. It looks pretty sweet. So far we have a huge amount of emails asking about it and promising to attend. I warned you about posting here, and thought I would make a temp account to kinda give ya some moral support. They are going to hate you, kinda cause you know me, and kinda cause your an American. Don't sweat it brotha, I won't make the same mistake next year and will choose a different game. I knew we should have used something else. There is a reason I don't play .5 at all. I made good on my promise to leave this game if .5 was released and followed through, although I see jal did not. I know you are a duel player at heart and I will admit wsw has a decent duel.
