hi im looking for someone that can help me make a little small mod
to duel, im very thankful for any help i get and i have no exp wat
so ever of coding etc.
what i want to change is:
nonstacked armors
RA – 200ap
YA – 150ap
GA – 100ap
ultrahealth only
no dash cooldown
Timelimit 15min
peace

Wasn't you the one complaining about no stun in bomb because it

u dont gain any speed from dash, i want to make this mod inorder to
fix alot of flaws warsow duel has, such as players stealing
literally all armors, by a simple gunblade selfdamage, i know ur
not very duelexperienced, but this is a tactic that works very
well, watch Lo, it destroys the gameplay, also i want nodash
cooldown in order to utilize other patterns and routes, movement is
so stiff in warsow duel, by this im comparing other games to
warsow, soon as u hit around 700-900ups aircontrol is pretty much
off, also i want to make no dash cooldown because its supposed to
benefit slightly bigger maps, and u cant always dash because there
are stairs, and other objects preventing dash, i need to add i also
want to change to strong ammo only, bomb has it, and i see nothing
weird in having it in all gametypes, basewpndefs though, i need to
do the basic coding first, and then test if i should keep
weak/strong or just have strong etc, this isnt possible for me if i
dont recieve any help with it
*edit* mephisto, dash and walljump aint the same thing, i know i can edit timelimit as in an gametype, but i want those changes too

That's not because I got beaten by you all the time that I'm not
experienced, I know tactics and all, just a lack of skill. If I
miss shot and you're in full control, it's not that easy. And I, by
the way, didn't talk about the armor system.
Anyway, I think maps are to confined for dash to be helpful, plus it would be a total mess if you can avoid all the time. How you can say movements in warsow are stiff ? It offers so many possibilites compared to other fast fps, such as vQ3, QL and CPMA, maybe too much. I think dash is not as good as I may first thought, by the way. Walljump is great, but dash..
Somebody already tried zero dash cooldown (ffmod ?) I didn't like it. For the rest, you can use gametype script and modify the maps to add an UH instead of MH.

lol i meant mephisto : p, if u dont play duel regularly and if u dont somewat master it its hard to notice serious flaws is all i meant, also i was just commenting common thoughts about my ideas, how dash would be abused too much etc, when it isnt possible and was used in laws mod
edit: its stiff in that sense that the maps are too small, and the movement too fast, so u tend to use exact same routes and patterns to go to A to B, im not talking about u can go to B from A C and D way, im talking if ur going to A to B its exactly, the same dash u make at 1 point, strafe there, etc, warsow has a very consistant tempo i dont enjoy very much, its rarely sudden full action where it requires something from u other than aiming, where its required position and tactics, like if u want a good place to shaft someone that isnt good with shaft or has no shaft atm, u just stand near a staircase, etc, its reason why i like more complex maps that are much or little bit bigger than the current ones, currently all maps are fairly small, but i want this idea to be a thing to be tested, not discussed, i dont think i will find anyone who would want to help me with this anyway, but ill play the waiting game, i believe this to bring more excitement and more and better action into duels, wat i wrote above is just things i want to get started with, then as testing goes on i might change and re-do certain stuff, goal is to generally speaking make the 1v1 experience better and more enjoyable other than basically only rocketfests and armorrape, and speaking of maps, try differ wdm2 with wdm6, u will see that wdm6 is much more complex than wdm2, i can also tell wdm6 matches are much better than wdm2 ones, because each match is often different on that map because of the complexity and also how its played, now i have to admit it is little bit too small too, wdm14 is a little bit more complex than wdm15, wdm15 has to be the most simple map ever, its so LG and EB heavy, its almost impossible to come back if someone has good control and knows wat he is doing, wdm3 is a good example too but its a little bit smallish

Nonstackable armors mean that the pickup count is the same as max count. So it's very different to QL. In QL you can even stack a GA on RA.

mh is, because i think its wrong to have the current timesystem
because it makes it unfair
i dont get why you are discussing this. he searches for help to
make. not for ppl telling him if its good or bad and what could be
better. do the mod and the play it. if its fun, maybe ppl will play
it too. i will for sure since no dash cooldown = winwin

But atm only thing I can do is probably test it on low-mid skill level and tell you if it makes duel more suitable for beginners.

actually all these things were in ffmod 1 time. the armor values
werent the same though, but not stackable. ultrahealth is map
specific i guess? and the no dash cooldown well. also ffmod

itchy, uh is map specific atm yes. but i will make it only uh on all maps, the nodash cooldown was brought by the latest ffmod which wasnt up very much, but yes it was there and it was very nice, for those that tried latest ffmod alot me included can say that it didnt make the game overly fast and unbalanced
btw vectory has given me some tips on wat do look for first etc, so i will get started as soon as i get manage to get a hold of the SDK, its like my download stops in the middle of the download coz of this awful net, but i will get it

how ddo nonstacked armors work whe you got e.g. 90 or 120 hp can u
get ga or ya respectively?

u can pick up any armor with any hp
