looks nice yet a bit too dark, also that beam texture (the pillar
thingy in the foreground hope you get what I mean) looks a bit out
of place, maybe let it go all the way down so it looks like it's a
solid beam supporting the building?
Those areas are like in the shots still ^^ that's a different
area...
and yes, it's a bit dark due lighting made so far using quick builds (which are much brighter).

It's not the darkness, it's this "try to color with light" thing.
It makes everything monotone.
Well dunno, I like areas having neons based on major item colors.
I've tried using little more varied textures but somehow it always
ends up looking so out of place here :/
its not that monotone really.+that kind of lighting in a way fits
there even though it coudl be bit better.

Have you tried with pieces of red metal (wbomb2)? The first shots had walls in red and it looked nicer, imo.
Yes I did.
But in general those don't really fit in there, and there's overload of red in the maps already (wdm2,9,12,19,20,wbomb2...). But well, I'm pretty happy how this turned out, so doubt I'll do any big changes to texturing.. I might experiment a bit more with green lights and green-ish textures for it though, but probably not anything major

I think old 5 was outdated(=shit gfx) and thats why it was removed.

I think kiki got his inspiration from that blx ctf5 consept which
is still ctf5.

I must remind you One More Time... put the old ctf5 back to servers! I dont really care how its named but it would be nice to play that map sometimes
