Alias command will not function

Hi, I'm having trouble getting alias to work in Warsow. I can use it fine in-game, but it will not save when I exit. No problem, throw it in autoexec, right?

But the game seems to ignore what ever is in my autoexec with regards to alias and aliasa. config.cfg has a "unaliasall" at the end of its file, but after even going through the generated config.cfg, removing the command, and making the document read-only, the game still won't acknowledge my alias commands in autoexec. I've searched through the forums some, didn't see a similar problem, even tried using other random alias binds to give it a shot, but they refuse to register through autoexec. What gives, am I missing something obvious?

which OS ? are you in the right folder,… ?
Can you exec in game console manually ?
On MS based OS try portable version.

wrong gamedir, maybe?
