Why not take advantage of this and make GB Strong the weapon to do jumping with instead of / addition to the RL? There's enough RL spamming already, and RL should have its high selfdamage so... GB sounds like a perfect jump-weapon.. ;) :D

Let me tell you the Racesow history. When wsw0.4 had released, there was a lot of whine by racers. The main reason was newmovement with its forward banny. In the resault racers decided to make their own mod with unchanged movement.
So, movement changes does no harm to basewsw/promod. It is only the way choosed by our smart developers. And racers are happy, they have no need to learn new physics.

Yeah. Also let me add that current Racesow is actually quite well coded :)
I was more concerend about ppl which play both race and
basewsw(promod) and there are some.
devs no longer support race gametype, the only original warsow

I remember when I first started with Warsow, with the fresh release of 0.3.. I played race in normal Warsow (custom maps ofc), there were plenty of servers. No problem and no "racesow" needed (haven't tried it either)..
Same with DM / TDM etc, plenty of servers to have some fun fragging on.. :D

Warsow needs to bring back some of 0.3s and 0.2s DIFFICULTY of the game + revert quite a few NERFs which have come over the versions after that which most people don't like. I've been playing 0.21 for myself lately to try it and damn, the whole game is on a completely different level. And race worked well in the normal game too (0.3), you know, there were only one movement at that time.. ;)
What happened? I could join Race or DM servers or whatever it would be whenever I wanted. WHAT HAPPENED?!

people whined about it back then, too, didnt they? i know in
0.3/0.4 eb and +back was too strong, then people whined about rl,
lg, back to rl and now gunblade xD also, there were always people
who found the settings to be the best ever. now people say 0.2 was
great and all, when they play it from a fresh start, but thats the
same effect any new version has, which doesnt hold too long until
people start to complain again, but at first everyone is happy.
may be a bit offtopic but i didnt feel like this was important
enough to start another thread : i and i think alot of
ca/bomb/ctfers would love the option to be able to see ur own
teammates through the wall. it would improve teammode gameplay alot
imo since u know exactly where they are and can avoid teamdmg with
nades for example .. theres an option like this in ql already
(cg_drawfriend) where teammate

We dont do this for the money so honestly we can safely and with clean self-conscience ignore such "whining". And like I've been trying to say few times, we dont much care for ideas, we need implementations.

Just remember to see how/what the "pleb" thinks/proposes and if it's feasible have it in the back of your heads when it's time to make a/multple decision/s. Or you will distance yourself too far away from the people who actually plays your game and they will loose interest in you and your game.

You REALLY should be able to brush that dirt off your shoulders without whining about people whining (:D) and coming with suggestions and showing interrest in your game.
And if you wanna stop further comments on something, You GUYS have the POWER to say -"No, this will not happen, because of this and this." . And there's a reason why I put "because of this and this" there, and the reason is that it's easier to accept something, or just understand something if there's an explanation behind a certain decision, or just the fact that you show you thought about it, and came to another conclusion.
But however/whatever you do, you will hear/read comments, mostly negative ones, because that's what people feel strongly for. But hopefully the fact that people actually plays your game, plays cups and use their free time to argue about the game (:D) is enough encouragement for you to continue and that what you do actually is appreciated.
