Hi everybody!
As there is eastertime in most countries during the next weeks, DrahtMaul and I decided to start a new cup-season. But this time we offer you something special:
The "Seen my eggs?" Capture the egg 3on3 Easter Cup on the 15th of april!
Checkins 15.30 PM CEST // Begin 16.00 PM CEST
- 3on3
- Timelimit 15
- Capturelimit 15
- bo3, Groupphase + SE
- irc: #vbcup
- stream: Not yet (If someone is willing to stream pls feel free to tell me! :) )
- mappool:
wdm4, wdm7, wctf2, wctf3, wctf4, wctf6
(Still not definite, we thought about dm7 and some other maps, feel free to test them out!)

It'll be all about seeking eggz and bringing them into your base.
At first it sounds like CTF, but it's rather more addictive!

We recommend to play CTE 2on2/3on3, the Cup will be 3on3, though 2on2 is also really fun, as it's more tactical and you've gotta teamplay much more.
Servers were allready set up to let u play some rounds in the next two weeks, also pw-protected ones!

In the end i'd like to tell you that there supposably will be some more slight changes, CTE's is not totally finished yet, even though not heavy ones. Nevertheless we'd highly appreciate if you post your first impressions and share your thoughts and feedback to assure a great cup-experience!

We're glad to tell that we managed to prepare dm7 and ctf6 for CTE,
so these maps are also in the pool from now on!

Thanks to everyone making it in the end such a nice cup!
Regarding the fact that this cup was some kind of an experiment, it all went well.
Ofc, CTE is no established gametype, so it was clear we would have to promote more and so on.
Also thanks to all the people who spread the word!
We've gotta admit, there were slight problems with the servers at first and some established clans didn't sign up, no reason to be mad.
Though we saw some rather awsome and even finals, alone that was worth the effort.
For me personally, i'd also like to thank Drahtmaul to let me be a part of the devwork for a gametype, was a great experience!
Another point i wanna mention here is that it also showed once more that beeing active or helping the scene is not as hard as someone would think, everything helps to keep the wsw-family alive.
Even though its a small cup providing an unusual gametype.
Enough of the words,

pikku everytime you make cup,you have done a great job!
oh and about cte.Played it some days ago and I think it has potential but I think you could also tune it little bit atleast.
And yeah thats common problem with unusual gametype that some guys dont want to play it.
