I think daxio doesn't feel as comfortable on wdm3 as he does on wdm5/6/acidwdm2 :).

People don't really want to play it anymore :P It's way easier to find a match on wdm5 or 6 I guess, however.. you think so or not on dm3 I feel just as good as on 5/6/acid even after not playing it for a long time :P also calling wdm2 shit spawn-rape map and then putting wdm3 into mappool you'd like to have is kinda wrong :p

I was quite a fan of dm3! Control was very important, if someone could control the map well the opponent wouldn't get a look in; but by the same token could also lead to low scoring, tentative games. Depends on the player(s) I guess!
@ Crizis well it depends on what the purpose of the cup is! Of course if it's to promote 0.7, then by all means feature new maps; but from the little that I've read (and I may be wrong!) 0.7 may not be out by then- and even so, you have to question to what degree featuring new maps will entice new players- it will no doubt interest some (for example those who haven't played warsow for a few years), but those who are more interested in the quality of duelling (IE primarily looking at the dwindling ql community) would probably be better targeted via the best gameplay from the best duellers on the best maps
BUT this is all by the by- I simply can't comment on the new maps in terms of their quality, they might be fantastic for all I know! :)

Then the cup definitely should not feature 2/5/6/acid- style maps.
