Problem to launch warsow 0.7

Hi all,

I have a problem when i launch warsow 0.7. i have this message :

VID_ChangeMode() failed with code 4

My resolution is 1280*720, i'm on Windows 7 and i haven't use my 0.6 config in 0.7.

If someone can help me, thanks :)

i alrdy told u, pick ur 0.6cfg and put it in the local basewsw-folder (since the appdata directory gets generated with first successfull launch, which doesn't happen here), insert vid_mode -6 (maybe sth else works too, magical number by randzZz:D ) in the cfg (instead of the old r_mode cvar) and then start the appropriate portable wsw edition. should work now. since it's not recommended to use .6cfg's in .7 though i'd then /exec default.cfg and just paste vars u need from the old one.

He said he didn't in the first place?

I try this and i have the same problem :/

Same problem here. And the farmup solution doesn't work for me neither :(
Whatever I try to do with config files ; it still launch a grey screen instead of the graphics with an error message popup : "VID_ChangeMode() failed with code 4"

farmer, are you trying to load the game in a strange resolution? if so - edit your cfg and make sure that you have vid_mode -1 (used to be r_mode in .6) and have set the correct vid_customheight/width. that fixed it for me..

Oh fu**, thx a lot that work for me to ! (change seta r_mode to seta vid_mode -1
