Haste for 0.7! (Last minute request)
I think it would give some depth to CTF gameplay.
It would be the perfect replacement for BS in wctf3.
My suggestions for it:
Spawntime: 90
Dropable: Yes
Effects:
- Higher walkspeed (350)
- Higher dash speed (500)
- Stun immunity
- No selfdamage

i dont think its worth the work tbh (creating new item isnt that
simple ;))
- lack of speed is hardly an issue in warsow - more often its the opposite.
- would be more interesting to get more original and team oriented powerups.

Here are some more ideas for powerups:
Vampire
100% of the damage you deal goes to your health (max 200)
Robin Hood
Works same way as Vampire powerup, but you give the health not to yourself but to your teammates (will be split equally unless someone is carrying flag or other powerup, in that case all goes to him) But it always goes to just teammates, Robin Hood can never give hp to himself.
Health addict
Every health you pick will be 300% as effective (50hp = +150, MH = +200, 5hp = +15hp etc)
Zombie
You can be killed, but you will respawn to the spot you died at. You can keep 1 weapon from your old weaponset (the best) but nothing else. If you die again, this will continue. Undropable powerup
Troll (works only in CTF)
Enemy team will have team damage on for their team for 1 minute.

I think its easiest to do this via gametype scripts. I'm sure you
can do the haste powerup quite easily.
It will also be the fastest way for you to actually test it out as devs are focussed on doing the release.

Point is that BS is already overpowered and makes the map to be one BS-fest. Buffing Battlesuit should be completely out of question

Crizis actually said he could do it if he had time, some time ago.. but we don't know if he has the time to do it :)
Doing items isn't that simple as it may sound, there's more work
involved than many could probably guess. Basic item code is
somewhat simple, however then comes things like making chasecam/tv
work propely with powerup carrier, multiple powerup carriers,
combination of these powerups (yes, these things don't "just work"
by doing nothing), then comes the joy of making the model, each
powerup also has sounds, hud icons, simple items... all in all,
it's a lot of work and not just matter of 5 minutes of hacking.
I did do regeneration for 0.7, but its still missing the model and sounds are crappy...
