It's easy enough to locate people sneak-running, by knowing they move 320 ups, they can't jump to access all areas and by guessing what they are trying to do and is no need to nerf their speed by a half by forcing them to walk, that is to say, making them move like 1/5th of natural Warsow speed.

Also, this is matter of taste, but I personally enjoy poker-style more and see nice benefits of more sneaky gameplay. This comment is coming from a sound whore btw

Make a tactical gametype that disables strafejumping or something of the sort.

What daxio is basically bringing up is the "luck factors". I consider luck to be when odds are super small, and it happens. Now, if those odds where to increase by other factors, but you, per logic assume its a low chance, but its actually high, it causes frustration. I have myself written a few posts similar to this and i am pretty safe to say i agree with whatever daxio says. He speaks of experience, i myself once mastered warsow duel, and daxio has mastered it. If many others would play warsow alot more you would come to these similar conclusion aswell. High random luck factors causes this frustration and to be completly fucking honest. Ive never seen this many players in this game rage and whine as much as in any other game. Im not saying "do this, do that". Just pointing out what he brings up is an issue.

I guess you don't get around much do you? Pretty much every other game out there, I've seen pretty much the same thing. For one, the Quake Live forums.

Personally, I think you're upset, and are mixing up frustration with randomness. I see the game as fair to each player. For example, if you think luck was on your side, would you be making daxio rage quit instead? I don't think so. Not to take anything away from your game, I think you've proven before how good you really can be.

Not upset. I went to the forum to see if anyone was complaining about me forfeiting the finals. I did not rage quit. I dont like the game how it is right now and i did not feel to continue when getting obviously bashed hard. If that is what you are refering to. I wrote almost exactly like daxio has 2 years ago. And actually yes daxio has ragequitted vs me. And he ragequitted last time this night. But we all, good players who have quit, and daxio n me who sticks around share the same opinions. We dont share the same opinions as new players because they cannot see the problems yet.

All im saying is warsow is nowhere near perfect. I dont really care to be honest. A long time ago i had a very interesting conversation with some people i will not mention. We came to a conclusion that warsow does not have potential as of right now to be a good competitive game. I am just like any other good warsow player who has quit. However this weekend you could say i did the same thing like hyrv and reload. Playing for the money. Many small things add up you know. Im not complaining and neither is daxio. But there are alot of improvements to be made. I will say it again. Im not saying "do this, do that". For many reasons.

I mean upset on the day you played. The things you said before quitting made it seem like you were frustrated with the match. I don't agree with you that Warsow isn't a good competitive game. When you look at the brackets, does anything look odd? Are the players with skill and experience at the top? Yes, seems fair and competitive to me.
