Ranked servers

Hey,

When I make public server in local game option I can not see it in server browser but somtimes player connect to play with me. Why i cant see it?

How to make this server ranked?

but I dont want to buy dedicated sever, I want to make it from time to time and play ranked games - is it possible?

You'll need a dedicated server (the warsow server binary) with static ip for ranked servers.

So I cant make ranked server by myself for a moment when i want it?? :/

Nope, sorry. Unless you have static ip :)

You can leave your PC on 24/7 and log into a chat client like IRC to keep the IP booked.

call your isp and say that you need a fixed ip

Download PFStatic IP, it's what I used. It's a tool that assigns you a static IP that can be transfered back to dynamic at any time.

How does that work?

probably something like dyndns, but with ip addresses?

To be honest I'm not exactly sure how it works. I wish I could be more help.
