warsow 1.0/ 7.0 Macintosh

Hey guys , i just want to know when its possible to add some update to play 1.0 wsw on 10.8 mac osx , because i can t even open the archive of warsow.

problem solved ,my bad, my mac has some kind of problem thats now solved, but i´ve another problem, i change screen definitions on wsw , and now i can t open the game, on terminal the follow problem appear:

Display initialization
setting the video mode failed: No video mode large enough for 1600x900ref_gl::R_Init() - could not GLimp_SetMode()
VID_ChangeMode() - could not revert to safe mode

You can delete/change the config in ~/Library/Application Support/Warsow 1.0

what should i delete, i dont have a cfg of my own just the pre defin of warsow, i ve already deleted warsow several times and download it , and i still cant start the game pls help me!

I got an issue in my mac cap fps 60 and dont know how to fix this ive been playing since the beta realised and never had this problem im going to try to clear the cash and ~/Library/Application Support/Warsow 1.0 to see if i can fix this :)

I cant fix the 59 fps cap vsynch is off im runiing macsx Montain Lion and i cant get back the fps rage .. /cry

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.windowserver Compositor -dict deferredUpdates 0
replace 0 with 1 to re-enable

IF that doesn't work ! there is a work around..

You could try this:

- download the Developer Tools for OSX (why wasn't this included with the Pro?)
- install it
- go to /Developer/Applications/Performance Tools
- open Quartz Debug
- go to Tools -> Show Beam Sync Tools
- select Disable Beam Synchronization

ANd there you have more them 60 fps in warsow :D

Ah nice - should add this to a (Mac) FAQ or smth...

Guess this is smth for the wiki when it gets online :)

As you might noticed its just 60+ fps until you reboot , there is no soluction yet for this

Another problem macosx player can found is the accel from the OS .

The soluction is here . The source code I got is not mine, I merely put it into an app container. Just run the APP

and the accel is gone.

Tbh just started few 1,2 times on mac, mouse feels like rubber, even without mouse acc.
