Setting up a 1.0 server?

I got today my authkey and began to setup afterwards the server (Which worked without problems). I have already experience with Quake servers so the configuration wasn't a problem for me, also the two UDP ports (44400+27950) are opened and heartbeats are being sent.

The problem is that I get the message "Server and client don't have the same version" when I try to connect.

Server version: 0.62
Client version: 1.00
Server OS: Ubuntu
Client OS: Windows

Server IP: 176.9.79.169

0.62 is the latest server version which I found here, the Wiki download link is broken by the way.

Latest release is 1.0 which you can get from the download page.

I have dedicated machine on Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS, x86.
Have an server auth key.
Starting server by "./wsw_server" (set sv_mm_enable 1 and set sv_mm_authkey myauthkey already written in server config) and i have:

./wsw_server.i386: error while loading shared libraries: libcurl.so.4: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

When trying to start by "wsw_server.x86_64" i have:

bash: ./wsw_server.x86_64: cannot execute binary file

What i do wrong?

What package i need to go?

well you'd need libcurl4 - but I don't see that in the list... Maybe try installing the libcurl4-gnutls-dev or libcurl4-openssl-dev ?

Install libcurl4-openssl-dev and it's working!

Well so far everything seems to be working just fine, I opened the server for now as pure "TDM" server which is running all DM maps. 2-3 hours later it was already filled with players who like the low ping of the server :)

If there are any issues or abusers on the server then just contact me on the website of CroggesServer via the Webchat or Email and I will ban their IPs. Suggestions for the server are always welcome.
