Just like all the CPMA crew were always very thankful to ID (yes, sarcasm).

The deterioration of Quake Live is what made me switch to Warsow. I played it for a good two years or so and it became increasingly apparent that id cared very little for the maintenance and well being of QL. The final straw for me was when it stopped supporting Chrome for no given reason.

The introduction of premium content and increase in advertisement waiting time pre-game made it very apparent to me that id was just trying to milk QL for all its worth.

On an unrelated not, last night in the race server someone asked how you move up. Someone responded "you have to pay for premium to move up".

btw... not an AD, but this game is most agressive pay-based game I've ever seen. There's hundreds of throusands of ppl playing this game simultaneously and it's free. But you should grow faster then others with moneys and the worst thing is when u become quite strong player with high level stuff u have to pay money or u will lose all your in-game credits. As for me, that became too annoying and I've left it, but still, lots of ppl playing this game. :\
