Getting started

I've been playing Quake for 10 years and would like to learn to play this game. What are the resources available for new players to get the basics down without logging on to servers.

Then I guess you have the strafe jump and rocketjump down, the only thing that I know is this movement tutorial.

Could also check out the about site http://www.warsow.net/about where you can see what damage different weapons make, how long it is between spawntime on quad and battlesuit. Also the mega spawns 20 seconds after your health goes down to 100, so not after you pick it up, your health has to be below 100
