Alternative strafe hud
As a common racer I love the new built-in racing hud functions.
However, the default strafe hud file misses some nice features and produces some very big bars, especially on high speeds, which make you loose your sight. It is also quite hard to see how much you should move your mouse to strafe perfectly because those bars are moving further away from the screen whereas you are usually looking at the center of it.
Therefore I made an alternative for this. Not much to see at this screenshot, just for reference.
A little below your mouse it shows you a bar representing the difference between your angle and the optimal strafe angle.
If you are not strafing enough (effectively not strafing at all) it shows a red bar. Move your mouse towards the bar to make it smaller.
If you are strafing too much it shows a blue bar. Move your mouse away from it to make it smaller and improve your strafe.
Below this bar it shows two angles. The left one is the vertical angle similar to the racesow one. This is used to get a good angle for plasma climbing, for example (match it to 71). The right angle is the horizontal angle. You can use this to make sure you are standing straight against a wall, or just for reference for yourself.

To use it, save it as huds/inc/default/strafe.hud in your personal basewsw directory (huds/inc/strafe.hud if you are using a classic hud). This should override the default file of your hud and make it use thisone.
You should rather distribute it as full custom hud, instead of making it so that you have to write default huds. I'm gonna check this out and see if it's viable to use this in 1.1 patch.
