1.0 FPS Stuck at 60?
HI Guys,
I just updated to 1.0 and the FPS is stuck at 60. I have both versions installed, and 0.6 doesn't do that.
I have a 2.7 i7 quad-core MacBook Pro with retina display, a Macbook Pro 15" i7 2.5, and an iMac with a core 2 Duo and they all have the same problem on 1.0
My Retina MBP is screaming maxing out at 200 fps with everything on high for 0.6, and plays every game I throw at it absolutely beautifully.
Any ideas on how to get it higher?

Your operating system limits the framerate; if you do a quick
search, zBuff managed to solve this problem, although apparently it
doesn't stay that way when you reboot.
i've got the same problem, but my notebook (dell inspiron 5110 i3
2,1 GHz, 3 GB RAM, GeForce 525M with Optimus technology - bumblebee
installed) is running ubuntu 12.04 (dualboot win7/ubuntu, warsow on
win7 is running fine).
it doesn't matter wheter i enable vsync or not, the fps still doesn't go higher than 60. i tried changing cl_maxfps but it doesn't help.
i installed warsow through desura, if that makes any difference.

60fps should save a lot cpu time compared to higher fps. should be
playable enough, too, right?

of course it's playable, but it's not fully comfortable to play games based on quake engine with fps under 90, your movement gets worse.
