Steam Greenlight?
This one-time fee will grant your Steam account access to post and
update as many of your games as you like within Greenlight. All
proceeds from this fee (minus taxes) will be donated directly to
Child’s Play, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of
children in over 70 hospitals worldwide.
That's warsows goal I guess, to save the world from doom.

but doom is quite a nice game...
Now we're gonna need a Kickstarter to raise the Greenlight
funds...
xD
xD
Three of the games are Source Mods, so they actually are totally
free. Seeing as how Warsow is kind of a mod itself, or rather a mod
of a mod, it has a chance.
I'll throw down $10-$20 towards the Greenlight fee if anyone else is willing.

True, it is unique, but my point still stands lol. Let's get the Greenlight fee pooled and get this party started.

Do you want to start up another KS campaign? Or would direct PayPal donations work better, either way works for me.
Hell, money should be the last problem here, I would be willing to
pay the whole fee, even though I'm just one poor student.
But we should not forget that such a thing needs to be advertised appropriately, Newsposts at the frontpage (and ingame at the wsw news site), news posts on moddb/indiedb, maybe even calling some sites like Rock, Paper & Shotgun to get the needed backup. After all, Warsows community is tiny compared to some of these 10 approved games/mods.

Can someone with a twitter hit up TB? I know he doesn't take
requests, but if you mention we're starting a campaign soon and
need to get out name out there he might be willing to help us. He
has had the game on his "want to play" list for a while.

Being source mods implies you must own a source game which, oh big casualties of life, is a Valve product.

Team fortress 2 is completely free, you can also get Half Life 2: Deathmatch for free if you have a Nvidia card, and also Alien Swarm
Black Mesa:
Requires only a FREE installation of the Source Sdk Base 2007

There is also Super Crate Box at steam, which is a completely
free game, say with no items to buy or subscriptions or anything,
it is completely 100% free.
As for Greenlight, these are the games that are also 100% free on greenlight (none of them approved yet, but it shows that completely free games are "allowed" to be voted for), just watch here.
I didn't went through the whole list, and while some of them definitely include options to pay for stuff, there are also some who are completely free.
Oh, look, it's Teeworlds.

A Kickstarter for 100$ would be kinda overkill.
Chipin.com could be a solution. Or just telling us where to put our money.
I would give 10$.
But in the end, the devs are the ones who must decide if they want to go to greenlight.
