for 3. I personally like announcer sounds on.
2. I didn't enjoy your font too much, it just doesn't fit wsw, plus adding red for triple/double frag made it a bit more peculiar :D

i don't rlly mind the announcer but imo the playersounds should be way louder. also ffa frags should be very special, cuz when i see totally new guys getting fraged it can barely impress me. it's not like they'd stop u from doing anything or dodge stuff.

I got vacation from this Friday onwards, so I will start working on the movie then. Will download all of the new demos and take a look at them. I will just use the configs I have so far and try my luck even though there might be points I am not perfect in, I hope it will sum up to a good result. Thanks for the plenty clips sent in, largely appreciated! :)

Had some problems with my harddrive so I just downloaded all the clips again, but these links are dead. Would be cool if you could re-upload them viiGo :)

Will start watching demos and record the good ones now. Let's see how long it's gonna take.

EDIT : Okay, found them on my External HDD, so no worries about the demos viigo :P

Okay, so I've watched through the majority of the demos and since I'm quite a demanding person when it comes to clips, I won't take every clip but just those who are not only played well but can also be put in a movie very well. I've got these many clips out of the sent demos from each of you :
adem - 3 demos
farm (only looked into the 1.0 demos) - 2 demos (if the speedcap finds its place, 3)
viiGo - 6 demos

I think about 3-4 more good clips would be a good amount for the movie.
I still have the demos of Skulp here, but there are neither ticks of any special action in them nor do I really see outstanding stuff after watching the first 4 demos. Would you mind pointing out where I have to look :/

EDIT : Just recorded a clip and I'm still pretty unsure about many aspects. Maybe I could get some comments on certain questions plz? :>

- Dusty Explosions, e.g. Rocketlauncher?
- How do I reduce the motion blur amount in OTFFSR?
- Put Colour Correction on the movie at the end or leave it at ingame-colours?
- Things like rockettrails or rather Vanilla Wsw?




This clip here is without Colours, without Rockettrail or Dusty explosions, pretty much pure Vanilla Warsow with a decent graphics config.

have you tried cg_ebbeam_old 1? it looks a bit cleaner. otherwise i think it looks good.

Hi there, first of all, ofc keep it up.
Still, maybe you shouldnt give ppl so much stuff to watch, or even decision about look etc, since thats what a style of a movie and its maker defines.
Im in my case more curious for a movie if i havent seen anything if it yet ;>

2:45~2:55 (demo time) couple direct rockets followed by LG track. enemy respawns and kills me, although I hurt him quite a bit. off the spawn I hit a flick direct RL that makes him blow up high then I finish him off with LG again.

5:20-5:30 (demo time) EB hit followed by some LG to an "invisible enemy hit" with EB, followed by a quick spawn frag with RL (on fire award pops)
6:20~6:33 (demo time) direct nade followed by two EB's (accuracy award pops) in a row with gunblade finish.
7:57~8:00 (demo time) quick LG to EB kill after taking RA

Yea, I decided to do that as well. Just take these last few demos from Skulp, record it in a way I find it fitting and just do it without asking for other people's opinion beforehand :p
