alias +scope "fov 55"
alias -scope "fov 110"
bind X "+scope"
alias scopein "fov 55;bind X scopeout"
alias scopeout "fov 110;bind X scopein"
bind X "scopein"
something like that? make a custom hud with a big black circle thing for extra cs feeling :p

so fun :D
-Hold Scope-
alias +scope "fov 47; sensitivity 0.85"
alias -scope "fov 108; sensitivity 2.6"
bind mouse2 +scope
-Toggle Scope-
set switch1 "bind mouse2 vstr switch2; fov 47; sensitivity 0.85"
set switch2 "bind mouse2 vstr switch1; fov 108; sensitivity 2.6"
bind mouse2 vstr switch1
there. these scopes ALSO lower your sensitivity while scoped. adjust parameters to taste. I prefer the Hold scope; faster to use, but i'm sure that there are people who will like the toggle scope. add to autoexec.cfg.
EDIT: typo, added toggle scopes

iirc vstr doesn't work in warsow (haven't tried it out tho so I
might be wrong :P)
-Toggle Scope-
alias scopeOn "fov 47; sensitivity 0.85; alias toggleScope scopeOff"
alias scopeOff "fov 108; sensitivity 2.6; alias toggleScope scopeOn"
alias toggleScope scopeOn
bind mouse2 toggleScope
is how I would of done it.

Yeah, that would be the sensible way, Gir.
Not sure where you got 47 and 108 from, though :)

vstr does INDEED work.. I even use it.
47 and 108 are the FoV's that I've found I like. 108 lets me see more than 90, without looking like my guys' tripping. 47 is a nice scope in between sniper and iron-sights distance, so it's suitable for the small-ish maps in WS.

so does this zoom actually help anybody? i tried one of these
before and it made my shot so much worse than normally, dunno why.
in CS i don't use zoom on the aug or sig, if i had xhairs i
wouldn't use it on the scout :>
