I just wanted to announce that there won't be warsow bamboocha cups anymore.
There are several reason, but mostly its because i don't see any future in warsow.

I mean, im tired of waiting for this game to get more popular, more players, but i don't see this happening soon.
I also don't feel like anyone appreciates that work which is behind to run this kind of cup.

Big thanks goes out to lokirulez, V-DecK and FURRi who helped me with this cup.
Also thanks to GigaTV, gamesports.de and masta from own3d.at for their great coverage.

I think everyone who really did such amounts of work to push warsow .. and especially those who have done so for a long can perfectly understand your decision! I think it's a very very sad thing, though, and big step backwards for warsow and it's scene. However, I wish you the best luck with all your future projects, regardless of wether they are warsow related or not.

however, warsow is only a game. I don't understand this fame of "future"
online gaming is not a sport! I love playing, i love tourneys like bamboocha... if noone organizes some tourney it's normally that people go away...

the scene is small but the game is funny, gamers are friends and we can't expect a big number of players in august.

However I don't agree with your opinion about the game's future wink. I'm to lazy to debate here xD, sry.
Personally, I still believe in this game.

#13 I agree with most of your points, except the fact that "warsow is only a game; online gaming is not a sport". Warsow is more than a game, it's a life spirit tongue. And when you play warsow for competitive purpose, the only difference with sport is that there are no real physical efforts in warsow. The rest is pretty similar.

sure it isn't a good news for warsow. We'll miss you and bamboocha, dude.
BTW I can really understand your feeling. It's very hard to keep on having full enthusiasm, giving full energy, putting high hopes, during years and years, into a freetime project. You know I'm at good place to realize it.
Anyway, you can't say warsow has no future. Sure the success's story will end someday. But nor you nor me nor anyone else can say when it will happen. And ATM, even if it can be hard for veterans to stick to warsow and keep on having high hopes about it, be sure in the next months warsow will keep on growing on the esport scene.
Overall, huge thanks and big respect for your input, man.

For 95% of players Bamboocha is not Warsow.The Death of Bamboocha is sad (why stopped that before Warsowtv?) ,but is not the end for Warsow. Some players dl  Bamboocha demos for looking that. The level is too high for players like me. I am not Zidane but i like football, same for Bamboocha demo. (désolé si mes paroles semblent incompréhensibles, mais le sens est clair je pense (enfin j'espère)). wink

This sux? Bamboocha is great, and Warsow is getting bigger imo. I'm rejoiced every night since a short time that I can find 20 ppl playing ictf, even more CA on different servers, and lots of people racing. Maybe duelling hasn't grown as hard as the other modes, but at least there is a good community being build. And how does Warsow not grow when right now we have CDC coming up, this could possibly be the first of many cups like that.

Mky you know I always respected the work of the admins for Bamboocha, and I respect your choice; But I don't agree with it ^^
