Hello,
how can I make warsow run on my mac?
I try to execute warsow.mac, but nothing happens.
This is how I did it... I extracted to ~/Downloads/warsow:
$ cd ~/Downloads/warsow
$ chmod +x warsow.mac
$ ./warsow.macIt tries to start the game, however warsow seems to depend on libjpeg, so I still can't run it.
Does anybody know how to install libjpeg to make this work? This is the error I get:
dyld: Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Frameworks/libjpeg.framework/Versions/6b/libjpeg
Referenced from: /Users/serp/Downloads/warsow/warsow.mac
Reason: image not foundnevermind... better solution below

OPS
U Need Some Frameworks
libjpeg
Ogg
Vorbis
SDL
And put the files in /Library/Frameworks/
u can use my Packed the files http://gedankenschlag.de/mirror/MAC%20F eworks.zip
or use the files form http://www.clanlib.org/download-binarie ersal.html
Thx danlin, that works. ![]()
But, does someone know how to turn off this fire-effect? Its pretty ugly white ball, and extrem on grenade launcher.
I've got another problem.
All things above are ok but then this appears in my terminal:
warsow_0\: ./warsow.mac
dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libcurl.4.dylib
Referenced from: /Applications/warsow_0/./warsow.mac
Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap
warsow_0\:
Now I've tried to install libcurl4 through various sources but nothing seems to work.
A little help please? ![]()

I made chmod -x warsow.mac,
I downloaded the framework,
but still some dynlib.4 file is missing ...
I still run 10.4 Tiger, not the new Leopard,
does it have to do something with that?
Why can't you do it the normal mac way, drag the warsow icon into the application folder and just start the game ...
I'm a Mac OS noob, need help installing/running WSW 4.0.

I tried just clicking cmd+i and changing the "Open with" from Quick-time to Terminal. I got the same error msg as before when i double clicked it so it might just work. ![]()
