I have a question, are these maps going to be voted on in any way? If they are, is there like a commitee selected to do the voting/approving, or a public vote?

I would presume that nip controls which maps to include, and that he may use polls to help him decide the maps in case he don't know.

That was my first idea yes. But I'd appreciate some help of course, since I don't want to overmoderate the community mappack aye .

The community map pack will get a direct download on the warsow downloads page, for easy access for all the server admins...

The mappers will have to submit their maps here themselves sepht, as I need to talk to them.

any chance for municipal \ authority ? both race maps.

Do you want everything I've done or should I scale them down so you can't jump in them?

I think there shouldn't be race maps included
because there are quite many custom race maps for warsow, so they should get an own mappack. Other maps are very rare, some dm maps, 2or3 duel maps and so on

If you need any input, or testing, gimme a holler, I'd be glad to help if needed. :-)

So, the flow would be:
1. Mapper submits his/her map in this thread (screenshot, download link)
2. "committee" approves the map, or doesn't
2a. if approved: mapper will be informed of what mapname to use
3. mapper sends map to nip with the new name.
2b. if declined, mapper can make changes and repeat step 1

I haven't really thought about a deadline, but I guess the deadline won't be soon .
