Raceathon

About

Raceathon is the first racing cup in the warsow history. Presently it is the ONLY race competition. It does not have any periodic parts, as for example Bamboocha Cup has, but it is known that the time between one raceathon and another should be approximately 1 month.
Every raceathon lasts 72 hours, one day for each map. So far these days were thursday, friday, saturday and sunday.

Rules

NOTE: There can be little diferences between rules in every part, but these rules should generaly stand for all of them.

  • No time resets allowed.
  • sv_pure 1 on. (don't care about this unless you are on a dedicated server)
  • Standard Warsow physics.
  • No GB-jumps allowed.
  • Submitting demos
    • Please include your nick, mapname and time in the demoname. If you want to go for the style contest, please indicate this in the demoname as we'll only watch the demo with your best time. Try to keep the demos short for our convenience. You can use a bind like 
  bind <key> "stop;spec;join;record <demoname>"
  • Timezones
    • CET=GMT+1
    • EST=GMT-5
  • Prizes
    • The honour! There'll be one overall champion and one for the coolest demo. The coolest demo can be an imaginative route, a general cool style or just having lots of luck! The overall champion will be the one with the lowest total time
  • Contact
  • Last words
    • We encourage people to keep their demos and times for themselves. It'll be so much more fun and exciting with people eagerly waiting for a score list to be uploaded! Besides, you don't want anyone to steal your route, now do you?
