Creator's Notes (taken from the Readme)

Zyfo contacted me some weeks ago and informed me about this race tournament taking place. The concept was pretty smart. 3 new race maps would be released by Kriuq, BardoK and Jezus on three different days. The players had 24 hours from the map's release time to submit their fastest demos. In the end there would be an Overall winner from all 3 maps. This time it was K0Li0 ;)

Some extra awards where nominated for the smoothest run, a "cool" fakie run and a community dance on wrc3.

Zyfo needed a Raceathon movie and I thought it would be a good opportunity to make my first race movie! The fact that warsow does not have it's scripted camera transitions fixed in the current version did not help at all. (Hoping for a 0.3 fix on that!:D) Some recams where made manually but still the movie is primarily in a First Person POV ;<

Raceathon.e01 was done over a 2 weeks period. The good thing was that I had all visual and game settings ready from my other warsow project. The bad thing is that the other movie will be delayed for at least 2 weeks.

Thanx for watching ;D

Playback Issues

For the x264 version , I STRONGLY suggest that you use VideoLan Player for the playback. It has a built in x264 support so you won't be needing any extra codec packs to install.

If you want to use Media Player Classic, you must first install the latest version of ffdshow. ffdshow can cause problems (especially to XviD video playback) so make sure that during the installation process you CHECK decoding for x264 and UNCHECK everything else, especially the decoding of XviD.

Also un-check post processing in the install (if this option is available) Finally, uncheck all audio decoding checkboxes (If there are any)

After ffdshow, install the MatroskaSplitter and make sure to check support for avi and mp4.

Note: The x264 version will not work properly on low end PCs. If your CPU runs below 2GHz you may have problems in playback

If none of the above helps and you still have playback issues, you will need to watch the XviD version.
