Hey,

i would like to read some suggestions for maps & map rotation for my CA Server.
Currently the Rotation is random which is problematic sometimes, because the same map gets chosen 2 times in a row sometimes.

Rotation: wca1 claustrophobia cloudninea2 sandboxb5 wca3 cwL2 yeahwhatevahb2 cwM1 cwM2 cwM3 babyimstiffbeta2 ourpackagebeta3

Maps on the Server:
wca1 claustrophobia cloudninea2 sandboxb5 wca3 cwL2 yeahwhatevahb2 cwM1 cwM2 cwM3 babyimstiffbeta2 ourpackagebeta3 corp jerms_ca4

Also another Question: Should i disable allow uneven teams ?

jerms_ca4 has very low contrast. The original version with normal contrast has better visibility imo.

cwM3 and yeahwhatevahb2 seem to be the same map!
jerms_ca4 realy only works with per-pixel-lighting enabled.
I know there were more good maps, but i dont remember their names^^

As for "allow uneven teams", id like to see it being disabled, but the game allmost always seems uneven anyway, so it doesnt realy matter.

Hi,

some news, i made some CA modifications (Not gamestyle) which are:

- MVP System based on most damage in the round
- Showing Roundstats after every round (Atm the player with the best weapon accuracy and average player damage)
- Tracked stats like played games and frags
- Own random maprotation, which avoids map repeats

Edit: Also added stats for every player, type stats in console to see them

- cpm22wsw: remake of the famous quake duel map, but quite open and similar to clautrophobia in structure.
- q2dm1: another well known map from quake (Quake2 if I remember well)
- 3v11: But I fear it makes server fail on purecheck

These are quite large, and somewhat open, I think they could do well in ca 4v4.

- wca2?

Maps I don't have the name of:
- the jerms one that ressembles cwM1 but larger, with kid drawings on walls, and a red bicycle somewhere.
- the large one that US ica players were playing so much. Name is something like babyimstiffbeta or something like that.
- The big red map where there are several big jump pads in the middle. Name is 50ula1ca1 or something very close.

Others will come back to my mind maybe.

wdm4, wdm7, wdm13, wctf4, wbomb1, wbomb2, wbomb3, wbomb4, wbomb5, wbomb6

I'd honestly just suggest adding every map you can get your hands on that's big enough with suitable CA spawns and then we'll vote to get rid of the ones that nobody likes. I'd much rather have a huge map pool and gradually slim it down over time than play the same maps we're currently playing all the time.
